I have come to realize through my class' service learning project that I am capable of persevering and completing a task no matter how long it takes. I find sometimes, through the process of blessing the less fortunate, I myself can be blessed by the time spent with friends as we help bake and pack.
The worst that has happened is staying back in school with around 8 other guys, rushing to pack the cupcakes while most of the class left school already. I have learnt that I am able to persevere even as fatigue sets in and my body begins to quit on me.
I do not see myself helping out in the community. Mainly because I do not think I will have the time to set aside and go about helping the less fortunate. Perhaps giving back by donations is still possible but nothing ambitious like baking cupcakes or such.
