The cupcake of love. A "fairy cake", as what British people would called it. Such sweetness was derived from the blood, toil, tears and sweat of the members of class 3F'11. Although I didn't participate in the baking, I can see that a lot of effort had been put into each small cupcake. These cupcakes are made to be sold for teachers' day, so that students who forgot to buy presents for their favourite teachers can have the opportunity to. The money we received from the project was donated to Straits Times Pocket Money Fund (I think).
I was told to deliver the cupcakes to teachers or students who had bought it, and the experience had taught me about "Service with a smile". However, one of the teachers I had to deliver to was Mr J (who will remain anonymous to respect his privacy). As I don't remember/know how he looks like, I had difficulty in finding him. Knowing that he was a D & T teacher from my chem teacher Mr M.T. , I went to the D&T Workplace and saw a man doing something. I called out to him to get his attention but he stared at me. So in the end I had to asked my friend to deliver the cupcake for me. Turns out, the man was Mr J. (._.) I learnt that I should be more courageous and assertive in the future.
As a compassionate person, it hurts my heart to see people, especially young children, struggle to have daily necessities. Some people may have deserved to have this fate due to their poor attitudes in life, but most "victims" are born into the darker side of life. While the rich dine & play, the poor struggles. When I grow up, I want to be an influential person, such that I can make a change to this cruel world.
Yay :o (Hope that was 50 words)
